
PLAYER REGISTRATION
Along with sponsorship and other fundraising, player subs are a main source of revenue to help us put four teams on the field each year, and keep on top of the tens of thousands that it takes to run a footy club like ours.
Your player subs go towards paying our VAFA fees, new footies, the trainers, the strapping tape, the electricity, the hire of the Garvey and the list goes on. We believe we have a competitive price, which hasn't increased in the past 3-4 years despite other costs going up. We want to provide the best place to play footy and be with your mates, for the best possible price.
To prove that, we upgrade our player insurance package to the highest level of coverage at no extra cost to you the players. The VAFA provide a bronze level, and we bump it up to platinum. The benefits can be found at the bottom of the page.
Full payment is due when registering in 2020. Senior players are $400 and Under 19s are $200. You are unable to be selected to play if you haven't registered. You may choose to take out one of the player sponsorship packages to help with the cost. In addition, the VAFA have introduced an $11 levy for every player. All of the money goes to the league. This is not a fee charged by the footy club.
